Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 Adds Autodrive, Photo Mode Improvements, & More Tomorrow

Today, CD Projekt Red announced the next big patch coming to its hit action-RPG, Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3, which is set to launch tomorrow for console and PC.

Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3 will add a handful of new features, improved gameplay mechanics, and bug fixes, including plenty of vehicle-based content. One of the most interesting new changes is that players can now set their car to autodrive.

Autonomous driving will take you to your chosen destination or, if you don’t have a jobs set, it will take you on a leisurely ride through the streets of Night City, all by holding H (PC) / Left Stick (consoles) when in your vehicle to activate it. This feature is disabled when you enter combat or when your vehicle is heavily damaged. Delamain will also offer self-driving cabs that can be called at any time.

Regardless of if you prefer to be behind the wheel or not, Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3 will add four new vehicles for you to cruise around Night City in: Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru, Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred,” Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa, and Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila. Each of these can be earned as a reward by completing specific side jobs that were added in via the patch.

A fully customizable Photo Mode will let the artists paint a new canvas as of the update, featuring 27 new NPCs that can be spawned in Photo Mode ( i.e. Rita Wheeler, the Cassel twins, fixers, Dum Dum, the iguana, Brendan, and more), more customization options to the Look-At Camera mechanic, and the ability to switch V’s outfits.

Other quality of life improvements will be introduced, including inverted mouse settings, weather control, and better lighting reflections. You can also see a full list patches coming to jobs right down below:
