The update is already out for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and you can find the full patch notes on the official site.

Interestingly, we learn during the livestream that the update was developed with the support of Virtuous Games.

The idea behind the patch is “Express Yourself” and focuses on the ability to let players express themselves in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

Many more cars (from all the sports brands and luxury brands) will have options to change colors and liveries. You can also change the colors’ saturation and hue.

The new Twintone option will let you scan any car in Night City and you’ll be able to apply its paint scheme to your car of the same type. You can store and collect all the paint jobs you find.

Interestingly, changing colors for your car on the fly during a police chase will help you get away.

The Auto Fixer dealership has been updated with 10 cars that previously couldn’t be owned by players.

Interestingly Johnny Silverhand will be able to spawn in one of the passenger seats of the cars, so you can drive around with him. He will also speak and react to your driving.

The photo mode is also getting an update with a drone mode that lets you move the camera a lot further. Collisions can also be disabled. Players will be able to crop their photos, albeit this will be available only on PC.

New customizable lights have been added. You can change their properties and place them anywhere you like in the scene. Players will also be able to spawn 3 NPCs to add them to the shots.

A new gallery has been added and you’ll also be able to display your best pictures in your apartment in smart frames.

New features have been added to the character creator with 100 new assets including nails, eyes, cyberware, face plates, and more.

A new randomizer has been included, letting you move a slider from “plain” to “punk.”

There are also a “bunch of new things that happen in the city” but the developers are keeping these a secret.

Interestingly, the developers mentioned that they might have one or two surprise for us coming.

Cyberpunk 2077 launched in 2020 to very mixed reactions, yet CD Projekt RED is not a developer that gives up, so it continued to work on the game for the next 4 years releasing several updates leading to one of the most spectacular turnarounds in the history of gaming.

Now the game has “very positive” reviews on Steam and it has sold over 30 million copies as of last month, while a sequel is in development.
