Paradox Interactive has revealed that Crusader Kings 3 console players are going to get the Roads to Power Expansion and the Wandering Nobles Event Pack soon.
The Crusader Kings 3 Roads to Power Expansion adds a new government type that’s inspired by the Byzantine Empire. This lets players appoint Governors, who will compete for influence and to get ahead. Other Byzantine-themed aspects are part of the expansion, including new court fashions, a UI skin, activities like chariot racing, monuments, a throne room, music, and more.
Plus, players can experience what it’s like in the Middle Ages as a wandering adventurer with the expansion and event pack. They can be a landless adventurer while they look for somewhere to settle, completing contracts and building their reputation.
With the influence system, players will be able to rise through the bureaucracy and gain influence to climb the social ladder.
There are three branches for the wandering lifestyle: Inspector, Wayfarer, and Voyager. There are also new activities, like Inspection, Hike, and Monument Expeditions. Players can also look forward to new activities and story moments while traveling.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players can look forward to the Crusader Kings 3 Roads to Power Expansion and Wandering Nobles Event Pack on May 11, 2026. Players can check out screenshots from the update below:

It’s not unusual for Crusader Kings 3 console players to get expansions and other DLC later than PC players — in fact, PC players received the Roads to Power Expansion in September of 2024.
On the same day, Crusader Kings 3 PC players can look forward to three Asian-themed Creator Packs.
