Paradox Interactive has revealed two new Creator Packs coming to Crusader Kings 3 later this month that give players new cosmetic options for their game: High Medieval Warfare Attire and Holy Buildings.
The High Medieval Warfare Attire Creator Pack is from modder JedNick. It includes quite a bit of headgear and armor from the High Medieval Period, which mostly took place in the 1200s and 1300s. The Pack includes looks from England, France, and the areas that makes up modern-day Germany, and the items are as follows:
- 3 Armor Designs
- English Knights Surcoat (3 variants, Standard, Late English, and Late French)
- French Gambeson Armor (designed for commoners)
- German Coat of Plate
- 18 Helmet Designs
- Englad: 3 Early English Great Helms and 1 Late English Great Helm
- France: 3 French Kettle Helmets (each with detachable chainmail), 1 Commoner Cervelliere Helmet (with detachable chainmail), 2 Early French Great Helms, and 1 Late French Great Helm
- German Lands: 1 Early German Great Helm, 2 Late German Great Helms, 2 Late Swabian Great Helms, 1 Banded Chainmail coif, and 1 Bishop Helmet Crest (this is specifically for warrior Bishops with the Unrelenting trait)
The Holy Buildings Creator Pack is from modder Kefir úr, and it includes new models for several of the religious buildings throughout the game. This includes each of the following:
- 10 regional houses of worship, each with 2 levels: African, Indian, Persian, Southeast Asian, and Turkish mosques; Caucasian and Eastern Slavic Orthodox Christian churches; Italian Catholic churches; and Tibetan stupas
- Catholic Grand Cathedrals
- 7 historical religious sites: The University of Sankore (Timbuktu), St Peter’s Basilica (Rome), Mont-Saint-Michel (Normandy, includes 4 levels), Grand Mosque of Yazd (Central Iran), Qutb Minar (Delhi, includes 4 levels), Sanchi Stupa (Madhya Pradesh), and Boudhanath Stupa (Kathmandu)
Both the High Medieval Warfare Attire and Holy Buildings Creator Packs will be available on January 27 on PC. Crusader Kings 3 is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but most of the time new content takes time to hit consoles.
