Hooded Horse has shared another trailer for one of the islands players can build on in Corsair Cove, its upcoming pirate city building simulator that’s releasing later this month.
This time, the featured area is Ship Graveyard Island, a collection of cliffs and island areas that has a gorgeous (yet spooky) abandoned lighthouse. Since the lighthouse was abandoned, quite a few ships have crashed on the jagged cliffs that lead into the island, leaving a wake of destruction to it. There are also violent storms that have quite literally tossed ships up onto the peaks, destroying them.
If players choose to have their pirate base on Ship Graveyard Island, then these ships and wreckages are hidden goldmines of loot and resources. Additionally, there are more resources waiting to be found on the island itself, as well as the sea creatures that players can battle and harvest.
Ship Graveyard Island also gives players a clear bird’s-eye view of the surrounding area, making it a great defensive spot.
It comes with its own challenges to weather, too. Players will have deep-sea creatures to fight, and the cliffs have questionably stable bridges going from point to point.

Earlier this week, Hooded Horse and Limbic Entertainment revealed another area players can choose to start their pirate home on: Skull Rock Island. Both of these areas have different aesthetics and challenges to face, and players can learn more about it here.
Corsair Cove is set to release on PC on July 31, 2026. Players can check out a demo for the game here on Steam.
