BeamNG.drive, the vehicle physics simulator, has had its v0.36 update, bringing new vehicles, refreshed vehicles, a few missions, and several improvements to the sim.
To kick things off, a new armored truck and a school bus were added as variants for the Gavril MD-Series. They come with unique liveries (including police, bank, prison, and off-road options), and there are different frames to choose from, as well.
Fans can get a glimpse of these new vehicles below:
Two vehicles have also been refreshed and given a new look and feel. The first is the Ibishu Miramar, which fans can get a new look at below. The refresh adds two body variants (a coupe and an Ute), along with new body parts:
The second is the Burnside Special, which received new body variants, several engine options, and even a trunk tank and rollcage. This refresh also focused on fixing bugs and errors on the vehicle. Fans can check out the new and improved Burnside Special below:
BeamNG.drive update v0.36 also added three new missions: Miramar Menace, Fragile Asset, and Outback Bangers.
Miramar Menace takes players to the east coast of the United States, where they’re running from police. Fragile Asset flips the script and has the player act as the police, tracking down a bank thief. Outback Bangers lets players race their way to a wasteland victory.
Several updates and improvements were also part of the update, including the following:
- Mission Marker improvements
- UI updates across the sim
- Radial menu improvements
- Launcher changes
