The aircraft, which apparently is the first of a series named “Heritage Valor Collection,” will be available for MSSFS 2024 on October 9.

At the moment, there is no indication of how long the early access phase should last. If you’re wondering, this is the ìiconic G version of the B-17.

This is certainly an interesting release, considering MicroProse’s pedigree with the B-17 and the fact that they’re working on multiple games of their own portraying the famous World War II bomber.

That being said, we do get a spiffy trailer and a large gallery of screenshots showing the Flying Fortress in action.

You can check them out below.

Microsoft Flight Simulator and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are currently available for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The latter is also coming to PS5 on December 8, 2025.
