This information was revealed at Bilibili World, but it’s not all that Koei Tecmo had up its sleeve. New information about Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian was shown off, as well.
Koei Tecmo revealed a bit more about the combat and synthesis systems in Atelier Resleriana. Synthesizing items uses a system that connects different Gift Colours from ingredients to create a trait for the final item. This gives players the chance to create items with unique effects and can even change the recipe in some cases.
Additionally, new Dimensional Paths introduce dungeons that change every time players venture into them. They have adjustable difficulties, which will impact both the enemies and the placement of ingredients inside.
When it comes to combat, players will use tried-and-true turn-based combat mechanics to beat opponents while focusing on using support characters to create back-to-back turns.
These multi-turns give players the chance to use multiple items, which can create new and unique effects. Additionally, players will want to pay attention to their units’ Unite Gauge, which can be used to give front-row characters back-to-back turns and increased damage.
Koei Tecmo also discussed how Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian fits into the universe, considering Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator exists. Essentially, these titles are separate from each other, and the upcoming Atelier Resleriana stands on its own as a brand-new entry to the series.
Players will also run into characters from other Atelier games, such as Ryza and Klaudia from the Secret series and Ayesha Altugle from the Dusk series.
