Today, Bohemia Interactive announced that its authentic military simulator sandbox shooter, Arma Reforger, just crossed over 1.15 million units across all platforms.
Alongside eclipsing the six-figure mark for copies sold, the title also broke numerous records for player engagement. On January 5, 2025, Arma Reforger reached a total of 169,210 unique players across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms:
- 55,616 unique daily users on Steam
- 38,449 unique daily users on Xbox
- 75,145 unique daily users on PlayStation
It also reached an all-time high for concurrent users on PC, boasting a player count of 12,547. Arma Reforger originally launched back in 2022 into Steam early access and is the eighth mainline installment in the Arma franchise and the first one since 2013.
Since launch, the newest installment has managed to build a dedicated community off the backs of constant updates, which were implemented with user feedback in mind. Arma Reforger places a heavy emphasis on realism, allowing players to see what it would be like in a Cold War gone hot conflict between the United States, the Soviet Union, and Everon-based rebels.
The next game in the series, Arma 4, isn’t set to be released until 2027. As such, fans can expect plenty more content to come while they wait for the game to come to PC and Xbox Series X|S.
Arma Reforger is available now on PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. For more information on this and plenty of other simulation and shooter titles, be sure to check out the rest of Simulation Daily.
