Today Gryphline released an extensive gameplay video of its upcoming free-to-play open-world action RPG Arknights: Endfield, and it’s pretty impressive.
We get to see plenty of the game’s characters in action, and one element that distinguishes the game from similar titles is the fact that your companions are all displayed at all times, instead of having a single character visible.
Not only do we see plenty of combat, but we also get to experience an element rather unique to Arknights: Endfield, which is extensive base-building elements with farming and production simulation gameplay that will make Factorio fans feel right at home.
Incidentally, the voiceovers in the video are in Mandarin Chinese, but you’ll also be able to select English, Japanese, and Korean. Text support will be available in English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
You can check it out below.
if you want to try the game out yourself, you can already register for the closed beta on the official site, which will happen in mid-January.
While the beta will happen only on PC, the game is also coming for PS5, iOS, and Android.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Arknights IP, it was born as a popular mobile game that debuted in 2019 in China and in 2020 outside of the country, published by Yostar in the west.
While the original game is a turn-based strategy RPG, Arknights: Endfield makes the jump to home platforms and the action RPG genre. Of course, this means competing directly against giants like Genshin Impact.
