ARC Raiders announced that it will be holding a tech test from October 24 to October 27, inviting fans from several areas of the world to play the game and give their feedback.
The upcoming multiplayer extraction shooter has a playtest option on Steam. Players can sign up to be a part of the tech test and future public tests that ARC Raiders plans to have. However, this first tech test is limited, and random players throughout North America, Asia, and Europe will receive access.
Once players do have access and have played several rounds of the extraction madness, they’ll be able to invite two friends.
ARC Raiders is clear that it’s still in development. Because of this, players aren’t allowed to share anything from the test online. They will be under non-disclosure obligations and agree to not share any footage or screenshots from the tech test.
To be in the ARC Raiders tech test, players will need to be 16 years old. Additionally, the minimum PC recs are:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit (latest version)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600 processor
- RAM: 12GB RAM
- Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 580
However, the recommended settings are a bit higher:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit (latest version)

ARC Raiders is a multiplayer extraction adventure game. Players take the role of a raider, scavenging the surface of a future earth that’s toxic. They’ll need to search the ruins and get back below the surface. It was featured at Gamescom 2024 earlier this year.
On the surface, players will face enemy raiders and machines to fight. With robust trading, crafting, and skill tree systems, ARC Raiders has several parts to it. The rounds last about 30 minutes and can be played solo or with friends. Plus, the four-day tech test will have its own Battlepass.

ARC Raiders will be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
