The update includes the addition of the Mack Anthem Black Edition, also known as Back Black Anthem.

On top of that, we’re getting dynamic cargo loading (and unloading) of grain hoppers and chip vans, showing the animation as your truck gets or delivers its precious cargo.

These will work when transporting corn, soybean, grain, sugar beet, pelleted animal food, potatoes, or cotton seed. The chip van will only get animated loading for wood shavings or cotton seeds.

In the future the developer plans to add animated unloading to chip vans as well, on top of additional types of cargo.

More updates are applied to specific DLC, and a big one is the FlowBelow Update for the following trucks.

  • Kenworth T680
  • Peterbilt 579
  • Volvo VNL
  • Mack Anthem
  • Freightliner Cascadia
  • Western Star 5700XE and 57X

Truck interior shadows are also getting an interesting improvement via a new tool named Interior Shadow Tweaker. Of course, you already heard about the new controller options with button assignments for modifiers.

Here are the full patch notes:

American Truck Simulator is also currently available only for PC via Steam and you can enjoy a look at the upcoming Arkansas DLC. The developer is also working on another DLC centered on Missouri.
