The event will run on the World of Trucks online platform and will kick off as the DLC launches tomorrow, September 16.

The challenge for each player, as described in the announcement post, is to complete a delivery to or from 10 different cities in Arkansas. This will complete their personal goal and grant them a World of Trucks Achievement and a White-tailed Watch ATS truck paint job Steam inventory item (you can see it portrayed above).

Yet, there’s also a challenge for the whole community, and it involves driving a cumulative 125,000,000 miles (201,168,000 km) during deliveries to or from any city in Arkansas.

If the community goal is achieved, those who also achieved their personal goal will get a hanging Diamond Apple Blossom pendant Steam inventory item.

Both items are also portrayed in the event’s trailer below. You have plenty of time to achieve the goals, as the event ends on November 17.

American Truck Simulator is also currently available only for PC via Steam and you can enjoy a look at the upcoming Arkansas DLC. The developer is also working on another DLC centered on Missouri.

Incidentally, the simulator just received update 1.51, on top of a free DLC featuring the iconic Mack Pinnacle. It’s worth mentioning that the same update has also been released for American Truck Simulator’s older brother Euro Truck Simulator 2.

SCS Software will exhibit its simulators at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover in an interesting and inevitable mating between simulation and real-world business.
