To be specific, the content showcased today will be reserved for those who also have the Special Transport DLC that allows you to haul oversized cargo.

We get to see three routes that will be available in Missouri for oversized cargo. Specifically, you’ll be able to carry it from Kansas City to Rolla, from Cape Girardeau to Springfield, and from St. Louis to Kirksville.

According to the reveal, these are going to be fairly challenging drives.

We also learn that the Special Transport DLC will be updated as well with a new cargo type, a huge underground electric loader used by the mining industry.

It won’t be just available in Missouri, but also in the base American Truck Simulator and in some other map DLCs (which have not been specified, for now).

You can check out all the screenshots below.

If you’d like to see more of the Missouri DLC (which recently received an April 3, 2025, release date), SCS Software already showcased plenty of screenshots including its lakes and rivers, Maryville, its junctions and intersections, Cape Girardeau, the iconic underground warehouses, the custom depots, more custom depots, Kansas City, St. Louis, and some of the new industries.

We also saw plenty of gameplay while driving around the State.

American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. The beta for version 1.54 has recently been released with new features and perks.

The sim also recently received the Arkansas DLC while Louisiana (alongside its truck stops) and Illinois have recently been announced and we’ve also already seen a bit of Iowa on top of its truck stops and towns.

A few weeks ago, we saw an extensive livestream in which the developers provided a lot of info and even images of more content coming down the line, including new trucks.
