Earlier this month, American Truck Simulator developer SCS Software gave fans a brief look into what truck stops will look like in the upcoming Missouri expansion. Today, they went even more in-depth regarding how the DLC will look, breaking down and explaining some of the new models their asset makers are working on that will make up the map.
To make the trips feel as realistic as possible, American Truck Simulator modeled real-world locations for the Missouri expansion. You can explore the Jefferson Performing Arts Center, the Joplin church, the statue in Kirksville, St. Joseph’s water building, or the pedestrian bridge in Rolla. In total, there are over 350 new models for this DLC alone.

Currently, there is no specific release date for American Truck Simulator Missouri. Interestling enough, it isn’t the only expansion in the works for the game, as SCS Software is also working on bringing a map of Arkansas to the game as well.
For those unfamiliar with American Truck Simulator, it was released back in 2016 as the successor to SCS Software’s other super-popular driving sim, Euro Truck Simulator, which launched all the way back in 2012. Currently, it is only available for PC on Steam for a price point of $19.99.
