Today, SCS Software released a new look at an upcoming DLC for American Truck Simulator, reproducing the State of Louisiana.
Specifically, we get to take a look at some of the welcome centers, rest areas, and weigh stations included in the DLC.
Specifically, we see two different welcome centers, one at the border with Texas on Interstate 10, and one a few miles away across the Sabine River in Louisiana. On Interstate 20, we can also find the Travel Information Center at Waskom.
Speaking of rest areas, both Interstate 10 and 20 have big ones you can take a break at if you so wish. For instance, there is one on the Atchafalaya River between Baton Rouge and Lafayette, surrounded by the state’s iconic swampy terrain.
On the other hand, the Tremont rest area can be found in the northern part of Louisiana.
Lastly, we take a look at a weigh station on Interstate 12, east of Baton Rouge

If you’d like to see more of Louisiana, you can check out the initial reveal and its truck stops. A release date has not been announced just yet, as SCS tends to reveal dates only when the launch is much closer.
Speaking of release dates, Missouri has just been released. Illinois has recently been announced, and we have seen more of Iowa, including its truck stops and towns.
