SCS Software released new screenshots and details about the upcoming Louisiana DLC for American Truck Simulator.
We get to take a look at the road network of the Pelican State, starting with two toll stations on LA-1 on the way to Port Fourchon and on the northern bank of Lake Pontchartrain.
More screenshots show the I-10 as it crosses over the iconic Atchafalaya Basin. We also see the I-20 and I-49, which intersect in Shreveport.
Lastly, we take a look at more intersections in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport. You can enjoy the gallery below.

American Truck Simulator is available for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are also coming. The open beta of update 1.56 is already available.
We don’t know when the Louisiana DLC will release, but you can already check out its truck stops, welcome centers, buildings, some cities, more settlements, its forests and wetlands, more cities, and the bridges.
SCS World should soon release an Illinois DLC, and you can already see its truck stops, the city of Marion, Rockford, Quincy, and even more truck stops.
The latest state DLC announced by the developer was South Dakota, while a rework has been revealed for the areas around the famous Route 66.
Another big project is the Road Trip feature, spearheaded by the Ford Car Pack, which will expand the simulator’s experience from trucks to cars and pickup trucks, including pure exploration and the delivery of smaller packages.
