SCS Software has provided another look at the next state DLCs coming to American Truck Simulator, Illinois.
Specifically, we get to take a look at several settlements included in the Prairie State.
We get to take a look at Monmouth, Macomb, El Paso, Chenoa, and Gilman. They all have recognizable landmarks and depots where we can find trucking jobs.
Today’s content includes a gallery of screenshots that you can enjoy below.
On top of the screenshots, we also get a video, which was published as usual on the developer’s own X (formerly Twitter) channel.

American Truck Simulator is available for PC, and it’s the sister game to Euro Truck Simulator 2. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are also coming. A beta of update 1.58 has been released a few days ago.
Illinois is likely the next DLC coming after Louisiana, and you can check out its truck stops, the city of Marion, Rockford, Quincy, even more truck stops, Moline, Peoria, Champaign, the prairies, Bloomington, and water bodies.
South Dakota should come afterward, and we already saw its Truck Stops, countryside, towns, cities, more Truck Stops, and the road network.
The game will soon cross the borders of the United States and go to Canada with the British Columbia DLC.
Another big project is the Road Trip feature, spearheaded by the Ford Car Pack (of which we also saw the Ford Crown Victoria and the Ford F-150), which will expand the simulator’s experience from trucks to cars and pickup trucks, including pure exploration and the delivery of smaller packages.
