The expansion featuring the southern U.S. state is coming to a PC near you on September 16, 2024, so the wait is almost over.

Of course, you can already wishlist it on Steam. Pricing has not been officially announced just yet, but state expansions normally go for $11.99.

Incidentally, the trailer, which you can see below, also showcases the upcoming Mack Pinnacle truck which was confirmed yesterday during a livestream that featured plenty of gameplay.

The expansion features a nice mix of urban and natural environment, and plenty of recognizable landmarks to make your visit to Arkansas more memorable. This shouldn’t be surprising considering that Arkansas is nicknamed “the Natural State.”

If you’d like to see more, you can enjoy another look at Arkansas and a second from last week. The developer is also working on another DLC centered on Missouri.

American Truck Simulator is currently available only for PC via Steam, and it’s the successor of the super-popular Euro Truck Simulator. Both sims have a very active community and basically progress side-by-side offering different experiences across the Atlantic Ocean.

If you enjoy simulation, perhaps you may want to try flight simulation as well. If you’d like some initial guidance to get past the complexity bump, you can read our introductory guide, alongside the second episode focusing on installing add-ons, and another showcasing the basic instruments.
