Riot Games released the first look at gameplay of a new character joining the cast of the League of Legends-inspired fighting game 2XKO.
The character is Blitzcrank, and the date of this reveal isn’t exactly random, considering that he originally debuted in League of Legends on September 2, 2009.
In the video, we get to see the automaton from Zaun manhandling pretty much every revealed character so far.
As usual, the animation is very impressive, showing that 2XKO has plenty of potential, at least in the technical department. It’ll be interesting to see whether it’ll manage to woo the fighting game community.
Incidentally, we also learn that Blitzcrank will be playable in the closed beta, which will start in just a week on September 9 on PC.
You can check out the video below and see Blitzcrank in action.
If you’re unfamiliar with 2XKO, it’s a free-to-play fighting game in development at Riot Games. It’s based on the ultra-popular League of Legends IP.
It’s coming in 2025 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. At the moment, a precise release date has not been announced. That being said, it’s very likely that we’ll hear about it very soon, especially if the results of the closed beta are positive.
