Many are likely interested in knowing how such a unique tie-in idea came about, and what they can expect from this add-on.

To know more, Simulation Daily interviewed Orbx CEO Anna Cicognani, who shared more details about the inception of Jurassic World Archipelago and what fans of this ultra-popular movie franchise can expect from it.

Core simmers may also want to know what else Orbx has in store for the real world, and don’t worry, as we asked that as well, receiving some interesting hints about which dinosaur-free areas the developer may be planning to visit in the future.

You can watch the full interview below. As usual, leaving a like and a comment and subscribing to our growing YouTube channel is extremely helpful.

It’s worth reminding that the add-on is scheduled to release on Orbx Direct for PC between the end of August and the beginning of September. It’ll come to the official marketplace, including an Xbox version, shortly after.

It’ll include the following locations.

  • Isla Nublar
  • Isla Matanceros
  • Isla Peña
  • Herradura Bay Marina
  • Isla Sorna
  • Isla Muerta
  • Isla Tacano
  • Juan Santamaria Airport (MROC)

You’ll also be able to meet quite a few species of dinosaurs, including the following.

  • Apatosaurus
  • Brachiosaurus
  • Dimorphodon
  • Gallimimus
  • Mosasaurus
  • Pteranodon
  • Stegosaurus
  • Tyrannosaurus Rex
  • Velociraptor.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is also available for PC and Xbox Series X|S, and Microsoft Flight Simulator is also available for the same platforms. If you want to see the massive visual difference between the two, you can enjoy our video and screenshot comparison.
