Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is only two months away, and fans of the storied flight simulation franchise still have many questions that demand answers.
To learn more about the sim and the many improvements that have been implemented by Microsoft and Asobo, Simulation Daily interviewed Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann and Asobo CEO Sebastian Wloch.
The interview was conducted during a preview event in Arizona, United States, after we had a chance to test MSFS 2024 ourselves.
Neumann and Wloch had plenty to share, including information on the new ways end technology they employed to pursue improved physics and more authentic flight models on the simulator.
We also hear more about the much-teased career mode, on top of a welcome surprise for those who have been requesting some form of historical weather (you’ll find that at the very end of the interview. Good things come to those who wait).
You can watch the full interview below from our YouTube channel. If you enjoy it, please like and subscribe. That always helps. If you can leave a comment, that’d be very welcome as well.
Of course, you should keep an eye on on Simulation Daily, because there is going to be a lot more Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 content here over the next few days, Including another interview, plenty of footage of other areas of the simulator, and more.
Incidentally, we’d like to express our gratitude to CruiseLevel for kindly providing a few bits of footage we were missing due to our camera quitting on us at the worst possible moment.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will release for PC and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2024.
If you’d like to read more, you can enjoy our hands-on preview with plenty of interesting details about the simulator for your perusal and our A-10 flight through the Grand Canyon.
