The Boeing 737 by PMDG is the perfect aircraft for a relatively short hop over the Alps in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 from Italy to Poland.
We’re going to fly from Milan Bergamo Airport (LIME), also known as Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport, to Kraków John Paul II International Airport (EPKK), reproducing a realistic Ryanair flight.
I actually flew exactly the same flight in real life during the Holidays, so I was excited to reproduce it in MSFS 2024. The view over the Alps is certainly rather stunning both in the real world and in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Interestingly, the route passes straight over Cortina d’Ampezzo, one of the two main locations of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, which are currently underway.
We also fly over Austria and southern Germany, and it’s a bit of a longer flight compared to others we’ve done.
We’re going to fly the following flight plan in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024:
OSK1F OSKOR NESTI SUMIR MALUG INGID STO LEDVA NETIR NETI4H
While the Bergamo Orio al Serio scenery is by Tailstrike Designs (and is unfortunately outdated and abandoned due to the inactivity of its developer), Kraków is by Drzewiecki Design.
