Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Updates on Issues and Promises Compensation
KT Racing provided an update on the status of the early access of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown following its rocky launch.
The percentage of players successfully logged in has now grown to 96% eight hours after the start of the early access, and remains stable at that level.
The developers are aware that some players are still facing connection issues and they are “fully committed to resolving these problems over the coming hours and days.” Their focus is currently on solving the lobby errors affecting the race servers.
There are also specific issues that the developers are aware of and working to solve. Workarounds have been provided as follows.
Error Messages After a Race: If you see an error message at the end of a race asking if you want to return to the lobby or free roam, please wait and do not press “Yes” immediately. The game periodically makes requests to the servers, and it typically resolves itself within a few minutes.
Launching a Race: Sometimes, it may be necessary to persist when trying to start a race. Keep trying if you encounter difficulties.
Onboarding Issues (Aberdeen first selection races):
If you have completed the second onboarding race but do not see the heliport on your map, please replay the first onboarding race.If you do not see the second onboarding race after finishing the first, try replaying the first race. If it remains blocked, please request a save reset.
The team also announced that all players affected by the issues will receive in-game compensation once the issues are fully solved. Further details will be provided down the line.
