Since it’s the weekend, things are a little slower in the gaming industry, but, developers continue to deliver news about their games.
Like every day, we publish a roundup featuring the gaming news that didn’t get individual articles, to provide you with a better bird-eye view of what’s happening with your favorite games.
Yet, before we get to it, here are handy links to the news that did get their own individual coverage.
- Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Remaster Shows Original Mode in New Gameplay
- Dragon’s Dogma 2 Director Hideaki Itsuno Leaves Capcom
- Final Fantasy XIV Reveals First Look at Chat Bubbles and More
Now, without further ado, I leave you with the news. Do keep in mind that if you are interested in Flight Simulation news on top of our gaming news, we have a separate dedicated roundup for that.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Introduces Professor Hermann
Today GSC Game World released a couple of new screenshots of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl introducing one of the characters who will appear in the game, Professor Hermann.
Once, the “PhD practice at Yantar” was a notorious and effective method for quashing the scientific ambitions of the most freethinking and bothersome students. Many of them changed careers after the experience, some went on extended sick leave, and a few… never returned. Of course, there were exceptions, and Hermann was one of them.
Shortly after the Brain Scorcher was deactivated, Hermann became the chief scientist of one of the first expeditions into the Zone’s heartlands. As a professor, he managed a mobile lab near the Jupiter Plant, gaining the opportunity to study the Zone more deeply than hundreds of his cozy, mainland-based colleagues. While he may not have been the bravest, his thirst for recognition and his knack for finding people to carry out the most dangerous tasks sustained him through years of successful work.
When SIRCAA was established, he earned the well-deserved position of senior researcher. However, over the years, his theories about the possibility of generating artifacts outside the Zone led him to conduct private experiments. Completely in secret from his colleagues, and, most importantly, from management.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl releases on November 20, 2024, for PC and Xbox Series X|S.

Rusty Rabbit Delayed to 2025 But Adds a Nintendo Switch Version
Netease announced that its side-scrolling action adventure made in collaboration with Nitro Plus and Fate/Zero writer Gen Urobuchi is going to be delayed until 2025.
The game was supposed to come out on September 24, 2024, for PS5 and PC. The developers have decided that they want as many players as possible to enjoy its story, so a Nintendo Switch version has been added to the bunch.
At the moment, a specific release date has not been announced.
