The creators of Ashes of Creation at Intrepid Studios showcased another long glimpse at the content coming with the second alpha test of the highly anticipated sandbox MMORPG.
This time around we get to see a ruined fortress named Citadel of the Steel Bloom, which the developers tackle with a full party.
After that, they step back outside to confront Firebrand, the Devouring Flame, a massive dragon raid boss.
To do so, they assemble a full alliance with 40 players, and the encounter takes on a truly epic scale.

We already know that Ashes of Creation’s Alpha 2 will officially start on October 25, 2024, and will have multiple phases with different tiers of access.
If you’re not familiar with this sandbox MMORPG that has been in development for a long time, it was originally funded all the way back in 2017 via a Kickstarter campaign that earned over $3 million.
It offers a very different approach to MMORPG gameplay compared to the theme park-style MMORPGs that are most widespread nowadays. It’s a full-fledged sandbox in which players are prompted to make a lasting impact on the world by creating settlements and self-governing them, alongside other similar features.
The game will be coming exclusively for PC, and no release date has been mentioned as of now.
