Activision just unveiled a brand new look at the action-packed gameplay that comes alongside the multiplayer section of its highly anticipated shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The trailer highlights a lot of the new features that have been promised, including the omnidirectional movement system, 16 new maps, and the a bevy of changes for weapon customization (aka the Gunsmith).
Those aren’t the only new features that stand out in the trailer, as players can now grab enemies and use them as a meatshield while charging at their opponents, which will be even more interesting if proximity chat is going to be used in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The ability to swim is also being carried over into multiplayer, giving you a whole lot of different ways to approach combat.
If you pay close attention to some of the action, you’ll also see some familiar kill streaks, including Valkyrie Rockets and Chopper Gunner. You can check out the full video for yourself at the bottom of the page.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to arrive on October 25, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Pre-orders are also available now, with a myriad of different digital and physical versions that each come with their own unique rewards and bonuses.
