The airport is an extensive remake of version 1, which was released in early 2022, and it’s now available on Orbx Direct (for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020), Simmarket, Contrail, and iniBuilds starting at around $20.92. As usual, the price fluctuates a bit depending on the store.

If you already have version 1, you can upgrade to version 2 with a 30% discount.

It comes with plenty of real estate modeled around the airport, and you can check it out in the latest video of our Airport Walkthrough series, in which we explored it down to the smallest detail.

To celebrate the new release, MK Studios released its own trailer showing off this relevant Italian hub, which is also known as Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport.

You can watch it below.

Here’s what you can expect in terms of features:

  • Highly detailed and realistic rendition of Rome Airport (LIRF)
  • High-quality 3D models and textures crafted with attention to detail
  • Modeled and optimized terminal interiors
  • Up-to-date ground layout
  • Custom-designed, functional jetways
  • Accurate and immersive lighting: custom approach, runway, taxiway lights
  • Unique, hand-crafted taxiway signs, ground service and airport vehicle models
  • Precise airport and runway elevation data for enhanced realism
  • Custom points of interest in the close airport area
  • Animated GSE vehicles, Trains and Flags
