Players already knew the Cold Snap update was coming with new, dynamic snowfall, a limited winter event, new survival mechanics, and even additional rewards. Embark Studios also already discussed the seasonal Raider reset and the second Raider Deck coming on December 26.
Players can check out what this dynamic snow looks like below:

Now that the update is live, players can check out the full patch notes, which include things like balance changes and new features.
When it comes to new features and adjustments, players can look forward to the following:

The Rattler had its base magazine size increased to 12 (instead of 10).
Shredder has also been adjusted:
- Knockback applied by weapons has been reduced
- Movement speed and turning responsiveness increased
- Shredder’s head has more health
- Improved navigation, so Shredder won’t get stuck on corners, in narrow spaces, or run into obstacles
- Enters combat faster after taking damage or if near players
- Added more destructible parts
There are a plethora of bug fixes and changes to go through. Players can check out the full list of these here with the patch notes.
