Ever since the Le Mans Ultimate V1.0 update launched back in September, the developers have been hard at work implementing quality-of-life updates based on user feedback. The latest patch is no different, aiming to improve the content by enhancing anti-cheat integration, implementing bug fixes, and adding new content to existing packs.

For anti-cheat, they’ve added batch files to install and uninstall EAC for support use and disabled online access if Easy Anti-Cheat is not enabled. Gameplay got plenty of fixes, with some examples listed below:

  • Added automatic return to menus for inappropriate behaviour post race such as driving the wrong way or not returning to the pits
  • Added logic to combine Time Penalties in to existing Stop and Go when receiving multiple penalties.
  • Added new engineer messages at the end of race
  • Added online driving standards metrics ahead of their use in safety rankings and live stewarding
  • Added support for Time Penalties which are served during a pit stop or at the end of the race.
  • Fixed real road grip levels in online events not progressing correctly
  • Removed automatic end of race allowing drivers to return to the garage of their own accord

The major content updates being added alongside Le Mans Ultimate V1.2 include a new prototype (Ginetta G61-LT-P325-Evo LMP3) and a new circuit (Paul Ricard), both coming to the ELMS Pack 2 DLC. The tyre model for LMP2, LMP3, and GT3 classes also received updates as part of the patch.

You can view all the other small, but noticeable, additions, like adding the lights on the mustang, via the full patch notes here.

Le Mans Ultimate is available now on Steam for $39.99. For more information on this and other exciting racing simulators, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily
