Sega released a new trailer of its upcoming Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties duo of games, focusing on highlighting the performance of the Japanese voice cast.
The Yakuza/Like a Dragon series has always provided absolutely top-notch levels of acting from its Japanese cast, and the upcoming games certainly are no exception. The performances are absolutely fantastic in the snippets that we can hear.
The trailer appropriately splits its airtime between the two games, and of course, it also provides glimpses of the storytelling.
Since Yakuza 3 Kiwami is a remake of the original Yakuza 3, the scenes of the first half of the video are undoubtedly familiar, while the second half teases the interesting angle from Yoshitaka Mine’s point of view.
You can watch it below.
Incidentally, if you’ve been wondering about the additional project to celebrate the series’ anniversary, teased last week, like I kind of expected, it isn’t a game. It was released during a livestream earlier this week.
Basically, it’s a limited opportunity to participate in bridal photoshoots with 11 characters of the series (9 male and 2 female characters) organized by a bridal salon in Tokyo and Osaka.
Customers will be able to wear a wedding dress or tuxedo, have their hair and makeup done by professionals, and pose with their favorite character. They’ll also be able to invite 10 friends to the proceedings and receive both marriage and divorce certificates alongside the framed photos from the photoshoot.
This service will be available only to 30 people selected by lottery. The price has not been announced just yet and you can see the illustrations of the available characters with their wedding outfits below.

Yes. It’s suitably weird, but who am I to judge?
Incidentally, those who don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for the whole thing can use an AR app that will place them side by side with their favorite character for 1,000 yen ($6.50). and have their pictures printed at a convenience store. Not as fancy, but certainly more affordable.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties were announced during an event just before Tokyo Game Show 2025, and will be released February 12, 2026, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch 2
