Blacksmith Master, an upcoming medieval smithy management sim game, is coming to PC on September 26, 2024.
The game was first announced last year, and it’ll be released in Early Access. Players will run a medieval blacksmith shop, starting from humble beginnings and working to prove themselves as the best blacksmith in the kingdom.
However, it’s not just about weapons and armor – jewelry and household goods can also be crafted. As players progress, they’ll unlock better recipes, leading up to masterwork weapons.
Blacksmith Master lets players take the reigns for every part of the business. They must discover and mine materials, build their shop, and design appealing stores. Stores will get larger as time goes on, expanding to have multiple floors and specialized areas.
As the smithy gets larger, players will have to hire and manage workers. Staff can eventually specialize in different areas, and players can invest in them by developing their skills.
For players who enjoy the blacksmithing aspect, there’s a direct control mode. This lets players focus on crafting and enjoying the mini-games that come with it.
Untitled Studio is the one-man developer behind the game, and it’s not the first medieval simulator from the studio. In 2021, it released Tavern Master where players run a tavern in the Middle Ages. Players generally like the game, and it has a Very Positive review rating on Steam.
Players can watch the release date trailer below for a look at what Early Access looks like.
