This time around, it is all about the largest shark species ever discovered, the Megalodon. Having roamed the prehistoric oceans around 20 million years ago, the Megalodon is as long as 15 meters, weighing up to 50 tons, and boasting over 270 teeth.

While this is the official reveal for the king of sharks, there was a bit of a tease for its introduction back in August, including a look at its babies. That said, Megalodon will not display parental behaviors towards offspring, and may attack their juveniles if provoked, so don’t be too shocked if the shark feeders located throughout the park aren’t the only thing they are feeding on.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 was originally announced at Summer Game Fest, and will be the third installment of a popular series of management sims inspired by Universal’s Jurassic World series, which debuted with the original Jurassic World Evolution in 2018, followed by the sequel in 2021. The next title in the series is coming for PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 21, 2025.

The game is set to feature 80 species of dinosaurs and a new campaign, which will see the return of Jeff Goldblum voicing Dr. Ian Malcolm. So far, they’ve revealed a boatload of these new dinosaurs that will be arriving in the sequel, including the Psittacosaurus, Lokiceratops, and Utharaptor.

We also got a look into interesting gameplay features, like a dive into the new breeding mechanics, the ability to host dinosaurs into families, and a brief preview of at terraforming. If you’re interested in the Jurassic World franchise, you should definitely take a look at the upcoming Jurassic World Archipelago for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, MSFS 2020, and X-Plane, on top of our interview about it.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 will be available for PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S for a suggested retail price of $59.99 for the standard edition, and $74.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
