Paradox Interactive has announced Surviving Mars: Relaunched, a remastered and comprehensive version of the original game from 2018.
Surviving Mars: Relaunched is a sci-fi city builder where players are tasked with colonizing Mars. That process includes staying alive and exploring the planet while managing their new galactic colony.
The new and remastered version will include more challenges and strategies that players will need to overcome and utilize. It also has a reworked UI, along with better graphics and lighting to make it more modern.
There’s also a Martian Assembly update that comes with Surviving Mars: Relaunched, which will add colony factions and politics. These features will let players shape the future of their colonies with things like laws. It also gives players the option to try and secede from Earth and become its own independent colony.
Surviving Mars: Relaunched will also include every expansion and DLC, including cosmetics, that were released for the original. There will also be mod support and tools integrated in the game to make it easy to browse, install, and manage mods across every system.
