Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including the release date of a promising aircraft and airport releases for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, MSFS 2020, and X-Plane.

Beechcraft Starship Release Date and Pricing Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Just Flight announced the release date of the Beechcraft Starship by Black Square, which will be coming for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 on June 19.

We also learn that the price will be £39.99/€44.95/$54.99, depending on where you live. The initial release will be on Just Flight’s store, but launch on the official marketplace and other third-party stores will also come at a later date.

Nashville International Airport Released for X-Plane

Globall Art released an extensive reproduction of Nashville International Airport (KBNA) and its surroundings for X-Plane 11 and 12, available on Simmarket for $27.92.

It includes the following features:

  • Accurate replica of Nashville International Airport, updated for 2025. 
  • Precise modeling based on original references, blueprints, and other studies. 
  • Custom terrain mesh. 
  • Fully customized pavement with ambient occlusion included in the textures.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Feelthere released a rendition of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (KDCA) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

It’s available on the developer’s own store and Simmarket starting at $16.19

The developer claims the following features, but I’d definitely look at the screenshots above first and foremost, and that’s all I’m going to say.

  • Highly detailed buildings with PBR texturing.
  • Satellite Ortho Imagery (CGL) covering the airport area from USGS.
  • Terminal interiors modelled.
  • Complete modelled ground polygon including realistic decals, dirt, taxi lines and surfaces.
  • Custom modelled jetways.
  • Animated train line at Washington National Airport Station.
  • Airline parking codes and modified airport services.
  • Updated AFCAD, parking spots, taxiway names and taxi signs.
  • Improved taxiway and runway lighting.
  • Multiple objects and clutter placed over the airport using the SDK.
  • Improved night lighting and apron lamps.

Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport Released for MSFS 2024

iniBuilds released Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It’s available on the developer’s own store for $13.53.

It includes the following features:

It’s worth mentioning that this is a separate project from the one recently announced by Dreamflight Studios, which will also be compatible with MSFS 2020.
