Global Power Lines Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024

Orbx just announced “Global Power Lines,” apparently adding power lines to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 on a global scale.

At the moment, we don’t have many details, but we’ll keep you posted when we hear more.

Southwest Florida International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020 Gets New Screenshots

Verticalsim released new screenshots of its Southwest Florida International Airport (KRSW) in the United States for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020.

Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots

Gate15 Scenery released a new batch of screenshots of its upcoming Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport (RJCN) in Hokkaido, Japan.

The airport doesn’t have a release date just yet, but we hear that it’s about to be completed, after all the objects are placed on the terrain texture.

Dammam King Fahd International Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020

Vertex Design Studio released King Fahd International Airport (OEDF), serving Dammam in Saudi Arabia. It’s available on Simmarket for $23.69.

It includes the following features:

  • Accurate Airport Layout: Every taxiway, runway, and apron is meticulously designed to match real-world aeronautical charts.
  • High-Quality Terminal & Buildings: Custom 3D models of the terminal, control tower, cargo facilities, and surrounding structures with realistic PBR textures.
  • Detailed Ground Textures: Custom ground markings, and weathering effects, for enhanced realism.
  • Realistic Night Lighting: Dynamic lighting effects for terminals, taxiways, and runways to ensure immersive night operations.
  • Custom Jetways & Ground Services: Fully functional jetways and accurately placed ground service equipment to match real-world operations.
  • Handcrafted Vegetation & Surroundings: Enhanced airport surroundings, including roads, parking areas, and nearby infrastructure.
  • Optimized for Performance: Designed to provide high detail without sacrificing frame rates, ensuring smooth performance for all users.
  • Compatible with MSFS 2020 & 2024: Fully optimized for FS 2020 and a more optimized version for FS 2024 will be released soon, utilizing the latest sim technologies.
