Today Navigraph launched the 2024 edition of the annual Flight Sim Community Survey to investigate the trends in the flight simulation industry.
The survey asks a series of questions about your flight simulation habits, including the simulators you use, your hardware, your favorite add-ons, and the products you’re looking forward to.
You can find the survey here, and if you find your flight simulation news and content here on Simulation Daily, we’d certainly appreciate it if you mentioned that in the media preferences question with the “other” option, since unfortunately, we weren’t included in the preset options.
While it’s perhaps slanted toward core users, given Navigraph’s rather advanced userbase, it’s certainly an interesting window into the flight simulation hobby, especially considering that it has been going on for several years and lets us see how things evolve.
This year’s survey will certainly be interesting considering that it’ll provide a look at the reception to the newly-released Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
It’ll be intriguing to see the percentage of respondents who have moved on from MSFS 2020 compared to those who are still sticking with the older version of the simulator while they wait for the initial issues to be solved (Sim Update 1 was just released officially yesterday to help with that).
Of course, you can expect a report here on Simulation Daily when the survey’s results are published.
The survey closes on March 17, 2025, so you have about 10 days to get it done before the window of opportunity closes.
