Capcom has officially revealed the benchmark for the next installment in its beloved action RPG series, Monster Hunter Wilds. This tool, which they are providing for free will allow you to see how the near-launch version of the game will run on your rig, via watching a demo play out.
This tool has been considered ever since Capcom ran its open beta test for the game in November 2024. It seems the community feedback on adding the benchmark was positive, as it is now available just a few weeks before launch.
The Monster Hunter Wilds PC Benchmark tool can be downloaded directly from its Steam link. You can try out multiple combinations by adjusting the game, graphics, audio, and language settings in order to reflect your setup’s preferences accurately.

- Install Size: 29 GB
- Length: Around 6 minutes
- Benchmark Flow: Title Screen -> Performance check whilst displaying a demonstration -> Results screen.
- A score will be provided based on the performance of your PC (see below for gradings).
It is important to note that there’s no character creation available in this tool, so don’t go looking for it. Also, neither Open Beta Test 1 nor 2 are representative of the experience you’ll have when the game launches, so it is important to try out the Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark to make sure you’re up to snuff for the pending release.
Monster Hunter Wilds arrives on February 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, starting at a price of $69.99. For more information on this and plenty of other RPG news, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily.
