Fortnite has announced its Season 7 Festival icon, and it’s none other than the visual artist Hatsune Miku.
The internet’s most iconic pop star will receive multiple skins like past Fortnite Festival stars. So far, her iconic blue, white, and black outfit has been shown, as well as an adorable pink and blue Neku Hatsune Mikuoutfit and Brite Hatsune Miku outfit, which is based on Brite Bomber and Fortnite’s Supply Llama.
Neku Hatsune Miku and Brite Hatsune Miku will be a part of the Music Pass. Since the recent revamp of Fortnite’s Passes, this will automatically be available to any Fortnite Crew member. Plus, players can get XP for the pass in any game mode.
Hatsune Miku will get her own bundle, which will include the iconic Hatsune Miku Outfit, Pack-sune Miku Back Bling, Miku Live Emote, Miku Miku Beam Emote, Miku Light Contrail, Hatsune’s Mic-u, Miku’s Beat Drums, and the “Miku” Jam Track by Anamanaguchi and Hatsune Miku.
And Racing fans, don’t worry — there’s a Hatsune Miku bundle for you, too. The Hatsune Miku Cyclone Bundle includes the Cyclone Car Body (with 13 paint colors), Miku Rider Beam Decal, Miku Rider Beam Decal, Bat Boy Decal, Flames Decal, L-ITA 99 Decal, Silver Decal, Stripes Decal, and Whiteout Decal.
Her Music Pass will also include a Leek Back Bling, a matching guitar, and several Jam Tracks. It also includes a Paper Lantern Auro and Shamisen Electric Bass. Players can check out some of the rewards below:
There are also several new things coming to the Festival Stages. First, local multiplayer will be available on PlayStation and Xbox for Festival Main Stage. Up to four players can play on the same console. Players will need to log in with an Epic Games account and platform account (such as PSN) to do this.
Four new Battle Stage modes are also coming. They’re each meant to help players compete on a more even level:
- Lead Only
- Drums Only
- Vocals Only
- Bass Only
Plus, the update kicking off Season 7 of the Music Pass will also introduce the ability to use select instruments as Back Bling.
Whether you’ve heard Hatsune Miku’s music or you’ve seen the memes, Hatsune Miku has been an internet icon for a while now. She has nearly 2.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Her most popular song, Miku, has nearly 90 million listens.
