Today, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco officially opened up registration for the Closed Network Test for Elden Ring Nightreign.
The test will allow players to try out Elden Ring’s new standalone co-op experience, teaming up in teams of three with the hopes of outlasting a three-day-and-night cycle of increasingly challenging enemies and bosses. It will only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and will run from February 14 to February 17, 2025.
Elden Ring Nightreign was officially announced last month at The Game Awards 2024 as a standalone multiplayer co-op PvE game set in the same universe as the original. The adventure begins at the Roundtable Hold, tasking players with choosing from eight unique characters, each with their own abilities and powerful Ultimates.
Once you’ve customized your character, you’ll be sent to Limveld, an ever-changing environment and a shrinking map overrun with powerful bosses and big challenges. Each session climaxes with an epic final battle against a Nightlord.
Completing these runs grants you even more power to take on more difficult threats in later runs, while anyone who dies is granted relics to help them improve as well. While there will certainly be some new additions, Elden Ring Nightreign will feature similar items and gameplay elements that players have come to know since the original released back on February 25. 2022.
Players interested in registering for a chance to participate can do so by heading to the website linked here. Elden Ring Nightreign is set to release for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) at some point in 2025.
