Today Just Flight released a gallery of screenshots of its upcoming Fokker F70 and F100 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and they’re certainly impressive.
We learn from the blog post that the systems of the aircraft are 80% complete and beta testing will start in the coming weeks, with real-world pilots who flew the actual type participating.
All liveries have been upgraded to 8k resolution, and the screenshots that you can see below certainly show some amazing results, no matter how close the camera gets. Doing this kind of work is especially challenging for older liveries due to the lack of high resolution photographic reference.
Development is continuing in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 for now, since it’s still early day for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with the developer remaining committed to supporting both simulators for the time being.
The Fokker F70 and F100 is planned to be Just Flight’s next release in 2025, and more details are coming early next year. If you want to hear more about Just Flight’s plans, the British developer spelled them out a few days ago.
