During the Indie Spotlight segment of the Indie Live Expo Winter 2024, Kodansha showcased a few indie games coming under its wide umbrella.
Kodansha has been very active in the indie scene with its Kodansha Game Creators Lab, and the three games showcased today were incubated via that same initiative.
We start with the adventure game by TearyHand Studio and Roger, coming to PC via Steam in spring 2025.
Next on Kodansha’s menu is Pararecords, a super-cute text-based adventure coming in summer 2025 from 6th Sense Games. You can already wishlist it on Steam.
Last, but not least, Kodansha presented Bokura by Tokoronyori. You’re likely already familiar with it because it’s already out for PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. Yet, it’ll come for PS5 and PS4 on April 18, 2024.
Did I say last? I lied. Kodansha and Tokoronyori had another surprise at the very end of the show, the release date of the two-player co-op game Bokura: Planet. It’s coming on April 24, 2025, to PC via Steam and a demo is also coming on January 16.
Interestingly, this time around the co-operative gameplay might include some deception and betrayal, making the dynamic of the game even more interesting.
