Today SCS Software showcased one of the cities included in one of its upcoming DLC map expansions for American Truck Simulator, Cape Girardeau in Missouri.
In a blog post published on Steam, we get to see how the historic buildings of the city have been recreated for the DLC, including Old St. Vincent’s Catholic Church, the River Campus, Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge, Fort D, the Missouri Wall of Fame, the local synagogue, the courthouse, and the dry dock.
The city also offers many depots to find jobs, including a factory for building materials, a yacht builder, a truck and trailer service, a supermarket, a feed mill, a riverport, and a construction site.

American Truck Simulator is available exclusively for PC. It has just been updated with version 1.53 which included phase 4 of the California rework with Santa Maria, Oxnard, Mojave, Barstow, Indio, Blythe, Los Angeles, San Diego, and El Centro.
Interestingly, the update also comes with fully functional sliding tandems and a system to fine drivers that set them up in a way that is against the driving code.
The Missouri DLC doesn’t have a release date just yet. SCS Software usually announces release dates only when they are very close. If you want to see more, you can check out its lakes and rivers, Maryville, and its junctions and intersections.
The sim just received the Arkansas DLC while Lousiana has recently been announced.
