The free Sew Delightful update for Disney Dreamlight Valley was released today, introducing Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, several new features, and even floating islands to decorate. Plus, a new and improved Star Path hit the game at the same time.
First, meet Sally. A mystery involving Kristoff, Merlin, and Jack Skellington will lead players to her. She has a unique and spooky storyline that players can enjoy by befriending her.
Sally isn’t the only new thing hitting the valley – several highly requested features also came out today. To start things off, a 16-point rotation expands on the previous 4-point rotation. This was something the community really wanted, and it came just in time for the new Floating Islands.
There are four Floating Islands in total, and each of them is a spacious area for players to decorate even more than they already can. These were announced a bit ago in a dev blog here.
Other features added include a new language (Brazilian Portuguese) and Top DreamSnaps of the Week. This lets players view the top three DreamSnaps every week to get inspiration and support fellow players.
Last but not least is the new Star Path, Frost and Fairies. This includes winter-themed furniture, clothing and hairstyles, and even an outfit for the Fairy Godmother. Plus, this Star Path has Bonus Rewards in the Premium tier. After completing the Star Path, Bonus Rewards offer spring-themed variants on some of the items in the original Star Path. It also includes a house style and even more Moonstones.
Daily items in both Scrooge McDuck’s Store and the Premium Shop will have additional options. This aligns with in-game events, like the crafting resource Festive Wrapping Paper (available from December 18 to December 31). During this period, there will also be holiday furniture to craft and Festive Fish to catch.
There will also be a chest in the Plaza that starts the quest for building a snowman for the valley. Additionally, the Dream Castle will have gifts under the Dreamlight Tree from December 25 to December 31.
