The next DLC for House Flipper, Dine Out, is coming to players tomorrow, and with it comes the option to flip and run your own restaurant. Plus, the base game itself is getting a few updates in preparation for the newest expansion.
To kick things off, the base game is getting a few new features. There will be an option to reset houses, a new simplified grid system to help place things precisely, and wall highlights to more precisely construct and demo walls. Storage optimizations are also coming, alongside the ability to sort items by expansions. There will also be FPD performance updates.
The Dine Out DLC itself has a lot to offer players. It includes the following:
- 10 quests
- 10 areas to renovate and decorate
- 30 dishes to cook from around the world
- Renting restaurants, offices, and houses
- Symmetrical object placement on flat surfaces (like silverware on a table)
- Decorate tables with tablecloths
- Design advertising signs
- 1,350+ new items
These new areas to renovate and decorate include a wide variety of restaurants like sushi bars, food trucks, ship restaurants, and cafes. New customers will visit these establishments, all with their own stories.
While players will be able to run their own restaurant, it’s focused mostly on renovating. There aren’t management aspects. What players will be able to do (outside of renovating and decorating) is create meals. There are 30 different dishes from around the world, and players will be able to cook these while also sourcing ingredients.
Players who have the Farm DLC will be able to grow and use their ingredients for cheaper. This is a fun way for House Flipper lovers to see the different expansions working together.
While leasing is coming with the Dine Out DLC, players will be able to lease out more than just culinary areas. They can choose to rent all their renovated properties, including residential properties and offices.
House Flipper – Dine Out DLC will be available on November 26 at 5 pm CET on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. PC users can get a 10% discount for the next two weeks, and a special bundle with the DLC and base game is available on Steam. Players can see the House Flipper Dine Out DLC trailer below:
