Today HoYoverse fully revealed the upcoming version 2.5 of its popular free-to-play turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail.
The update, which will come on September 10, will be titled “Flying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue.”
The three new characters that will be introduced with the usual two phases of the update are Feixiao, Lingsha, and Moze.
Feixiao is a five-star Wind character following the path of the Hunt. Lingsha is a five-star Fire character following the path of the Abundance. Moze is a four-star Lightning character following the path of the Hunt.
Feixial and Moze will be included in the Phase 1 event wish on September 10, while we’ll have to wait for Phase 2 to take a stab at unlocking Lingsha.
Of course, there will be an expansion to the story, mostly focusing on Xianzhou Luofu.
Another big addition will be the Luminary Wardance, a martial arts tournament set aboard the battleship Skysplitter during which the Luminary will play the brand-new role of coach for Luka. This will even provide us with a chance of earning a pet named “Tuskpir” that will follow us around

Honkai: Star Rail is available for PC, PS5, iOS, and Android. Incidentally, we just saw the reveal of one of the characters who will likely be added with version 2.6, Rappa.
