Krakow Airport v2 Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator
Drzewiecki Design announced that it’s working on a full-fledged version 2 of its Kraków John Paul II International Airport (EPKK). It’s one of the first airports released by the Polish developer for MSFS 2020, so they decided it can use a complete overhaul instead of simply an update.
Here’s what we can expect directly from the lion’s mouth.
To bring it up to current industry standards, we completely redesigned the entire airport’s horizontal layout, logic, all night lighting, sounds and 3D signs completely from scratch. In addition, we’ve updated all vehicles, handling, and static aircraft, added new buildings around the airport, included all helipads (even those on hospitals throughout Krakow), and significantly upgraded key airport buildings, such as the new and old terminals.
It’s worth mentioning that the upgrade won’t be free, albeit discounts will be offered for customers who have the previous version.
