Tokyo Haneda Airport for X-Plane Released

Today developer DarkBlue Scenery released its rendition of Tokyo Haneda International Airport (RJTT) in Japan for X-Plane 11 and 12.

The scenery is available on Orbx Direct for $15.81. It’s worth mentioning that the developer doesn’t recommend using the airport with X-Plane 11, albeit it is supported.

Here’s how they describe the issue so that you know what to expect.

“Starting from January 1st, 2025, we are gradually phasing out support for XP11, it is no longer recommended as a running platform. We have only provided minimal support and adaptation for it. You can run the scenery normally on XP11, but you won’t get the full experience and may encounter offset issues.”

Haneda is the busiest airport in Japan and the gateway to Tokyo, hosting the vast majority of domestic flights to and from the rest of Japan and sharing the international flights with Narita.

The airport comes with the following features.

We also get a look at the airport via plenty of screenshots, which you can enjoy below.

It’s worth mentioning that this is a completely different project compared to the one in the works at Axonos, which will come for both X-Plane 12 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Another version for Microsoft Flight Simulator is in the works at Technobrain.

If you’re unfamiliar with X-Plane 12, it’s a flight simulator by Laminar Research for PC. Version 12.1.4 has recently been released, and the developers are currently working on a major update, 12.2.0, which will come later this year.
