Developer X-Crafts released an extensive video showcasing its upcoming Embraer Lineage 1000 luxury business jet for X-Plane.
The video showcases both the exterior and the interior of the aircraft, which will be provided at no additional cost to those who have purchased the developer’s full E-Jets family.
It will also be available as a separate purchase, and the E-Jets family’s price will increase when this is released.
Being a jet that costs over $50 million, it offers pretty much everything one might want in terms of flying in the most lavish luxury, including a full-fledged bed and much more. Considering that most of us will never be able to fly on anything like this in real life, at least we can live it vicariously through simulation.
You can check out the video below. If the jet looks familiar, it’s because it’s a variant of the Embraer 190 airliner.
According to the developer, the aircraft is nearly complete, with the 3D model being finished and the only things missing being some animations and systems, but this will be X-Craft’s first release in 2025.
A lot of effort has been put into the lighting, as the developer mentions that X-Plane “really doesn’t make it easy to make things look good at night.” That being said, if the video is any indication, the effort has paid off.
If you’re unfamiliar with X-Plane, it’s an independent flight simulator by Laminar Research, currently available for PC. The Embraer Lineage 1000 will be compatible with both X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12.
The latest officially released update is 12.1.2, which came at the end of summer, while a release candidate for 12.1.3 has just been made available. The official launch of this update, which focuses mostly on ATC improvement, shouldn’t be too far.
If you’re interested in more aircraft for X-Plane, the freeware Boing 737NG family by LevelUp has just been released.
