Three new bespoke airports focused on the Caribbean have been added, Princess Juliana International Airport (TNCM), Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport (TNCS), and Gustaf III Airport (TFFJ), also known as Saint Barthélemy Airport.

New boats have been implemented alongside new wake effects and an update to global water colors.

Moving away from the sea, we’re also getting support for dual jetways (albeit this has to be implemented by airport designers) and new library objects for airports in the form of service vehicles.

More changes include improvement to the replay system, the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas has been updated, a problem regarding rain drops on windshields has been fixed, and changes have been made to the Cirrus Vision Jet and the ALIA 250.

Additional camera controls have been added and the number of 3D airports has now reached 20,000 thanks to the work of community designers using the Scenery Gateway. Of course, they’re not all hand-crafted in their models and textures like those mentioned above.

You can find out the full list of changes including a few more bits and bobs on the official website.

X-Plane 12 is currently available exclusively for PC.
